Adult Ministries
Everyone is busy. It's one of the few things that almost all of us have in common.
Well, that and how we feel about the traffic on 380.
At Grace Chapel, we endeavor to provide classes and events where you can deepen your faith, but above all, we strive to create ministries that bring balance, sabbath, and renewal to your hectic life. No matter where you are in your life stage, how many kids you have, or how early you have to leave your house to beat the traffic on your commute, you will find people here who can relate and can be your family. You are not alone.

Morning Prayer - Virtual
This group serves our virtual community as a Facebook group that gathers on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 am to start the day with devotional and prayer. A group leader offers the prayer time via live video in the group. Group members also post prayer requests and updates during the week. Many group members also catch the videos on replay later in the day. Anyone is welcome to join!

Empty Nesters - 50+
These couples and singles meet in various locations for dinner or other events. This group does “field trips” on occasion because they like to go do fun things together. Come meet new friends and explore our community together! Life is better when you have a family of faith to share it with.

Small Group Launch Gathering: January 12, 2025 at 5:00pm
Small groups at Grace Chapel are one of the ways in which we live-out our values of celebrating difference, embracing change, and especially belonging to one another. Through small groups we connect deeply. We share our fears and burdens. We share our joys and celebrations. We grow in our faith. We find encouragement, support and authentic community. There are no prior requirements to join a small group. You simply need a desire to deepen your relationship with God and God’s people.

Sunday Morning Study
This Too Shall Last: Finding Grace When Suffering Lingers
9:30-10:30 am | Meeting January 12, 19, 26 & Feb 2
Our culture treats suffering like a problem to fix, a blight to hide, or the sad start of a transformation story. We silently, secretly wither under the pressure of living as though suffering is a predicament we can avoid or annihilate by having enough faith or trying harder. When your prayers for healing haven't been answered, the fog of depression isn't lifting, your marriage is ending in divorce, or grief won't go away, it's easy to feel you've failed God or, worse, God has failed you. If God loves us, why are we allowed to hurt? This study, led by Jen Johnson, Phd, will explore grief, suffering and faith in an open discussion-based format.
Purchase your book before the first class.
